1. Introduction
Certificate Examination for Teachers of Chinese for Cross-Cultural Communication is a standardized test managed by the CICG Training Center, which assesses whether candidates have international Chinese communication ability by examining their abilities of language analysis, cross-language teaching design and organization, Chinese culture interpretation and communication, cross-cultural communication and adaptation, cultural activity planning, etc.
2. Applicants
1) Those who are interested in the international dissemination of Chinese culture;
2) Those who are interested in international Chinese language teaching;
3) Those who love Chinese language and culture;
4) Both native speakers of Chinese and native speakers of other languages.
3. Registration conditions
1) College degree or above (including current students);
2) Standard Mandarin with a foreign language foundation (English or other languages)
4. Test purposes
The certificate indicates that the holder has fully mastered the core curriculum content of cross-language teaching, and can also speak standard Mandarin as well as using a foreign language (English or other languages) proficiently. Moreover, it also shows that the holder understands the basic theories of international communication, with a broad humanistic vision and the relevant knowledge and skills for cultural communication in a cross-language environment, which makes one capable of teaching Chinese language and culture at home and abroad.
Certificate for Teachers of Chinese for Cross-Cultural Communication is:
1) Reference basis for hiring teachers in institutions of colleges and universities, primary and secondary schools, and language education institutions;

5. Test content
The Examination covers five aspects: basic knowledge of Chinese language and Chinese culture, and theories and methods of cross-language teaching, cross-cultural communication and international communication.

At the same time, candidates need to take the relevant language test and obtain the corresponding certificate in advance, or they need to take the additional test on their Mandarin or foreign language oral ability.

8. Certification conditions
Those who score more than 60 points in each subject are regarded as qualified; those who score more than 60 points in both subjects and have a language certificate or pass the additional test can get the certificate for Teachers of Chinese for Cross-Cultural Communication.
9. Make-up exam
The above test results are valid for one year. If you do not achieve 60 scores in an exam, you can apply to retake the exam. If you fail to pass the make-up examination within one year, you must re-apply for the examination.

Certificate for Teachers of Chinese for Cross-Cultural Communication is valid for a long time and can be found on the official website of the CICG Training Center.
11. Exam time
The examination is held in a national unified manner in January, May and October each year.
In addition, according to the needs of candidates, regional additional exams will be held from time to time.
12. Registration and test location
Candidates can register offline at the test centers, or register online at the official website of CICG Training Center and choose the nearest test center.
After successful registration, candidates should go to the selected test center for offline examination.
Online examinations will be implemented during the epidemic or other special periods.
13. Exam training
